Objective
To inform of and solicit registration for a professional development workshop for beginning teachers

Process
I met with the onsite coordinator for the program to find out their needs and goals. The text was provided and there was a preferred size. I would need to prepare the artwork for variable data as the enclosed letter would be personally addressed and the mailing panel would be printed with an address.

I chose to use traditional education symbols but I wanted them to look bright and clean. I sourced the imagery from stock photos. Recognizing that the title was long and unwieldy, I worked on ways to make it more graphic and that set the stage for type use throughout the brochure.

 As was usual for this client, I prepped files for the printer and provided a press approval.
