Objective
To illustrate a covenant developed by a local congregation that wanted a poster to display as a reminder

Process
The image came from the congregation, a snapshot taken at an event. I screened back most of the image to eliminate distracting details and provide a ground for the text. I highlighted the butterfly to symbolize the care and nurturing contained in the covenant, both in the creation and the commitment. They created the covenant with a ready-made acronym, so I highlighted each beginning word in a red chosen from their denomination's brand guidelines.  ​
