Objective
To announce a citizen science conference to formal and informal educators

Process
To evoke the idea of hands-on activity, I created the front page image of the folder with notes, photos, and items that might be used in citizen science projects.

For the second page, I created a clean, grid–based layout, carrying over some of the front page elements, such as the angled photo and drop shadows.

I created a fun type identity for the flyer's title, using a combination of serif and sans serif typefaces for visual interest. The ladybug dotting the "i" reflects the overall look of the flyer.
