The Succeed Program
Description
17 x 10, four-panel fold brochure, four color, 100# white text stock folder & related literature Produced in Adobe Illustrator Images prepared in Adobe Photoshop Role Designer Objective Succeed is a post-secondary certificate program for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The client wanted an engaging look for this pilot program and also wanted to clearly associate it with their school. Process I designed the brochure to introduce the program to potential students and their families as well as donors and community members. The collection grew to include peripheral pieces such as a folder and printed pages and, in subsequent years, minor redesigns as the program developed and changed. To establish a connection with the school, I used their trademark red as a primary color in the design. Following the school's branding guidelines regarding logo use was also important to this. After the program was in place, I was able to do redesigns which replaced the stock photography with images clearly taken on campus. I chose a typeface with a modified collegiate look-- square–ish with prominent serifs and not so much thick and thin variation in its strokes—for the title and headers. This visually communicated the idea of the college experience that the program promised. |
